Go! Sushi recently opened their take-away store, but don't be fooled. Scott Miller, owner and sushi-master has been creating Sushi for many years. And, more importantly, he has the proven record of innumerable catered events, receptions and smachot. Among the many satisfied clients are the King David, Dan hotel chain, Inbal, David Intercontinental, and more.

Go! Sushi is a five-star addition to the Jerusalem take-away scene. Here you have a sushi factory outlet! And the good news is that it keeps fresh for more than a day, so you can buy it early and eat it later without worry.

Go! Sushi offers any type of Sushi you want. All is made fresh and fresh it is. Fresh fish, fresh vegetables, all fresh ingredients give your mouth the feeling that you are eating right. The rice was perfect. The 'set' menu has not been set yet and will be based on customer response. Scott is very responsive to your feedback.

Go! Sushi is the affordable way to enjoy the delights of the far east. The prices for pick-up at the store are 18NIS - 35NIS per tray and each tray has between 6-14 pieces. The noodle salad is 9 NIS.

There was a good assortment of sushi, maki, nigiri, salmon and avocado, tuna and avocado, spicy tuna, salmon teriyaki, mushrooms and sole, veggie rolls, california rolls, salmon nigiri, japanese omlettes called Tamago. All of the sushi tasted - and we tasted plenty - was very good.

All take away items come with wasabi, pickled ginger, soy sauce, chop sticks - It might sound trite, but you can't have your Sushi without wasabi (well, I can't). There are also other side dishes, for example, the Noodle Salad with veggies.

When you walk into the store there is one fridge filled with sushi, mostly assorted trays. But, if you can't find what you are looking for, they will prepare it for you on the spot. If you want the assortment tray to have just two kinds, for example, spicy tuna and salmon/avocado, they will take care of it. Unlike some places, they are willing to mix and match - willing to make it right.

Go! Sushi is convenient, located in downtown Jerusalem. It is easy to run in, pick up some sushi for lunch, dinner or a late-night snack.

Best recommendation for Go! Sushi, after eating there: 'I would get it again'. What more do you need to say?

Try This: As mentioned, Scott is an excellent Sushi Caterer. Do NOT miss the opportunity to have Go!Sushi cater your next party. Give him a call at the take-away store or the Beit Shemesh factory (02-992-2117). Your order can be picked up in Beit Shemesh or in Jerusalem.

For orders over 500NIS, they will deliver anywhere in the greater Tel Aviv (Raanana, Kfar Saba, Herzliya, etc.) and Jerusalem areas.

*Go! Sushi usually has a mehadrin hashgacha, but it depends on the type of seaweed available in the market. Check with Scott for updates about the mehadrin status.
