About Roza Friday Buffet Take Away

Open Sunday - Thursday 12:00 noon until the last customer. Motzei Shabbat till last customer. Friday take away buffet. Closed Shabbat.

October 2018
Roza resto bar is a spacious restaurant at the corner of Emek Refaim Street and Rachel Imenu, in Jerusalem's German Colony. Roza is an excellent venue for dining with your partner or with the family. Roza is also an excellent place to host your party of up to 150 guests. Visit the Roza take away buffet on Fridays and bring some of the luscious Roza foods from the restaurant to your Shabbat table.

Roza is a classic meat restaurant with non-meat options. In addition to great meat dishes the menu offers fish, salads and pasta dishes.

Start your meal with one of the Roza focaccia dishes. Focaccia range from the basic bread with dips to Lachmajoun which is a full meal, topped with beef, herbs and tahini.

ROZA in Jerusalem's German Colony has 3 great offers for you:

  • Take 10% off at the restaurant
  • Add 1 shekel to the price of your main course and Roza will gift you a bowl of ROZA's delicious soup. (NIS 42 value).
  • Take home a loaf of fresh Focaccia with 150 shekels of take away food at their Friday buffet. (NIS 48 value).

You won't be able to pass up the Roza starters. A meal could not start better than with the brandy flavored chicken liver pate made the way we like it with fruit confi and pistachio nuts on toast. Or go lighter with Grandma Roza's fish patties. Try Roza's hummus platter with falafel or cigars stuffed with the tahini. If you like them stop by on Friday and buy some from the open buffet to take home for shabbat.

Diners preferring non-meat options will enjoy the Roza salads. But not all the salads are meat-free. You can make a meal of a Roza salad that contain chicken breast or veal.

Sandwiches are quite the thing at Roza. High end sandwiches, called "Roza's Pita" on the menu, are stuffed with slow-cooked assado, vegetables and dressing. Another pita is grilled and stuffed with juicy kebab. "Express Sandwiches" include Roza's classic burger with premium ground beef topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and served with potato wedges. Steak sandwich and a chicken sandwich.

We love the pasta dishes with or without meat. These are beautifully presented and tasty too. There are vegetable and meat (optional) pasta dishes, Paparadello, and gnocchi dishes.

And then there are the Roza main courses. Go for it.
Kebab in eggplant baladi, chicken in a number of different ways: grilled, seared and schnitzel. Roza would not leave you without Entrecote steak. 300 grams of aged and grilled Entrecote in wine sauce. Now that is a main course. Beef fillet with a lot of vegetables. But the crown is the famous Roza tasting menu. Ask the waiter about this.

All those rich and wonderful flavors are bound to make you thirsty and we did mention the bar. Can you guess where this is going? Sure the wine selection is excellent but there are also mixed drinks and cocktails. Martini anyone!
