Meatland
is a specialty shop for kosher foods. The shop carries imported
kosher goods and cooked foods prepared on the premises for take-away.
There is a very large freezer section with special cuts of meat,
fish, and many other frozen foods.
At meatland you will find a good selection of foods from your
country of origin - be it the US, England, South Africa or Australia.
Many of these items are not available in the national supermarkets
chains. These specialty items attract shoppers from all over the
country.
Excellent take-away foods are available in the freezer and refrigerator
sections. You'll find cuisine from many parts of the English-speaking
world. There are also kugels and cakes from the traditional Eastern
European kitchen. You can order prepared foods in advance or you
can take pot luck and hope that there will be take-away available
when you get to the shop.
Meatland is a clean, well-lit store. The items are organized well
and the English-speaking staff is polite and helpful. There is
always someone available to direct you, if you can't find it yourself.
Meatland is located in the shopping center at the corner of Ahuza
and Bar Ilan street. The shop entrance is on Bar-Ilan street across
from the Maccabi building. The entrance to the underground parking
is through
Bar-Ilan street. The shop offers

hour free parking with a purchase - show your receipt as you leave
the car park. After your shopping you can swing your car around
to the front of the shop, and one of the helpful staff will bring
your purchases to your car.
