You might have walked right past Rosetta restaurant and didn't notice it.
Smack in the middle of the city, Rosetta is the slim

Rosetta is a restaurant with a story. The owners came to Israel from Holland, where they owned and managed several restaurants. There they discovered Chabad, and the rest is history. Aliya to Israel, kashrut, mehadrin, and Rosetta Restaurant.
Rosetta offers classic dairy dishes throughout the day.
Rosetta's breakfasts include the popular eggs Benedict. One of Rosetta's hit dishes is spinach shakshuka. When our New York family comes to visit us they insist on this unique green shakshuka for breakfast.
Rosetta's fish dishes are their specialty. With fish or the day, baked salmon steak and fish&chips the outstanding choices.
The menu also includes a good selection of vegetarian dishes as well as salads, pizza, pasta, and delicious desserts. There is a large selection in each category with influences from the French, Spanish and Italian kitchens.

On a sunny winter day my companion and I stopped at Rosetta for lunch. We took seats against the outside wall of windows that allowed the sun to warm up the comfortable seating area. The space was bright and happy, giving us a good feeling before we started.
My companion was pleased that he could order Eggs Benedict from the breakfast menu, even though it was lunch time. I chose the fish&chips lunch special, which included a small starter salad for an additional 15 shekels. We started with the "katom" soup, which is orange soup,,a velvety blend of pumpkin, carrots and sweet potato. The Eggs Benedict were two pieces of challa (or brioche) with a slice of salmon on each piece, topped with spinach, hollandaise sauce and a poached egg on each piece. My companion was quite happy with this aesthetic and tasty dish.
Fish & chips is always my favorite, and this dish did not disappoint. The fish pieces were nice and crispy, served with a large portion of chips, tarter sauce and ketchup. This was way more than one person could eat, so we shared the dish and left a fair amount of chips behind.
A good nutritious lunch for both of us, came to 120 shekels.
