Nagisa Sushi

March 2015
Nagisa Sushi, Kfar Saba, is a good, serious, sushi and Asian food restaurant located in the Industrial area, on the eastern side of Kfar Saba. The restaurant is easily accessible via Weizman St, the main east/west artery running north of Kfar Saba. This is a corner restaurant, with close parking in the shopping center on the perpendicular street. The restaurant is a few steps up from street level but there is handicap access from the side.

We were delighted to find a spacious restaurant, simply decorated with clean lines. There is comfortable basic seating in different sections of the restaurant. I suppose the people in Kfar Saba like to expose their children to the better things in life, because when we visited this restaurant for an early dinner, there were several families with children enjoying sushi and noodle dishes like the best of them.

About The Nagisa Sushi Menu

What's to eat?
You will be handed a tablet with a clear and easy to use application, where you can peruse the menu. The only thing missing is the "buy" button. We had no trouble at all finding the inside/out sushi that is our standard at sushi bars.

Our waiter then recommended a different mix, not in the menu. Sure. Why not, we'll have that too.

The sushi is prepared at the very colorful open sushi bar, while cooked dishes are prepared in the closed kitchen. We waited patiently for our sushi which was delivered promptly. The ample pieces were lovely on a white platter with wasabi and all the trimmings. I like extra wasabi please, no problem. A 10 shekel special on beer convinced my companion, and a large cold inviting glass of beer was added to our order.

This does not happen often, but as I looked around at the foods on the other tables I got a yen for an eggroll. This is a meat restaurant, but they offers parve eggrolls. I ordered one for each of us, but the waiter quickly said that a single portion comes with three eggrolls. Each of the three was a good size, served with sweet sauce, and was just enough for us to share.

Our bill came to 98 shekels, This was the best 98 shekels that we had spent in a long time. We left the restaurant relaxed and satisfied. There are several other branches of Nagisa Sushi all kosher, and we look forward to our next visit to either the Kfar Saba branch or one of the other branch restaurants.
