This is both a comprehensive and a convenient cookbook. The book contains over 100 Pesachdik recipes, meant to be quick and easy. Not all fit the bill but you will find a good number of recipes with a small number of ingredients and easy instructions.

The book starts with some tips on overcoming the stress of the overwhelming Passover holiday. Prepare the basics like tomato sauce and mayonnaise a day in advance (is she kidding?) and there are pesachdik recipes for both. There are some tips on substitutions, after all not all ingredients are that readily available.

The cookbook goes on to suggest menus for each day of the holiday. If you follow these menus your family will eat better on Pesach than the rest of the year. The book sections include Quick Meals, Soups, Salads, Sauces & Dressings, Fish, Meat & Poultry, Side Dishes, and Desserts. There is a convenient table of contents and an index, essential in a cookbook.

Format: One of the innovations of this cookbook is its especially convenient format. The book is spiral bound. Recipes are printed on two sides of the page, which can easily be flipped over. The front and back hard covers make a convenient stand. This provides a small footprint on your kitchen workspace and the pages will stay clean.

There are crisp colorful dividers between sections that I would use to staple some of my favorite recipes into this book, making it the primary Passover cookbook. Keep it with your Pesach dishes and have it from year to year.
