The Bagel Cafe menu does not end with the bagels and the spreads.
Bagel Cafe offers a full dairy menu.
My partner and I visited Bagel Cafe about lunch time, We started our meal with salads. I had the Crunchy Mozzarella Salad (52NIS), a big fresh salad with cherry tomatoes, garlic, fresh mint, Kalamata Olives & Fresh Mozzarella, topped off with bagel croutons,. The salad was fresh and delicious and big enough for two. Next time I go to Bagel Cafe this is what I am ordering. My partner had the Smoky Forest Salad (49NIS), containing: mixed lettuce & baby greens, sauteed mushrooms & smoked melted Gouda Cheese. Once again, this was a huge salad full of flavor. They don't skimp on the vegetables or the cheese at Bagel Cafe.
Those two salads would have made a great lunch, but we were at Bagel Cafe to taste the menu, so we went on to the main course. I had the Salmon Fillet (88NIS) in a cream sauce with sun dried bell peppers, and crushed walnuts served with a sweet potato. The sauce was very creative and original and the salmon was lovely and not the standard salmon. My partner had the Lasagna (52NIS) Chef’s Recommendation (and ours too) The lasagna was a generous portion, with a thick creamy sauce. These two dishes could have easily been enough for our lunch.
Among the many other foods, Bagel Cafe offers wonderful desserts. For dessert we shared the “Victoria” milk chocolate mousse with white chocolate granache on a brownie. We ended with one dessert for the two of us, which was just enough.
