Don B.June 4, 2010.My wife and I view dining out as a mini-vacation, as a break from the stresses of our lives and as an opportunity to try out different tastes. Since my wife is an excellent and somewhat adventurous cook this results in us enjoying only very specific dishes in even the best restaurants. That is, until we discovered Feel’in, which we have already visited three times, always with guests. Hence our sampling of the wide variety of appetizers, soups, main dishes, salads, and deserts is substantial. In a nutshell, I would rate all the dishes in this restaurant as running the gamut from excellent to amazing. As my pasta-loving son said when he ate the tuna appetizer, “This is unbelievable”. After the ravioli he commented appreciatively “The ravioli everywhere is always the same, this is really different”. Feel’in truly comes into to its own in the exquisite fish dishes (though I would be remiss if I did not comment on the unusual and superb onion soup). Each fish is presented beautifully and each preparation brings out the delicious qualities of that particular fish. If you are ready for a serious fish try the tuna (my favorite) if you want something lighter, try the salmon (great) or the fourel (my wife’s favorite) or go with the suggestion of the very helpful waitress. You simply cannot go wrong. The appetizers and salads are eye-opening (for instance, try a mushroom salad or especially the tuna appetizer—an experience totally unlike the tuna main). Since I am not much of a desert person, I rely on the assessment of my guests who felt that the deserts were certainly up to the high standard of all the other dishes in the restaurant.
