TaranTino

November 2014 Revised March 2015
When you are looking for a great dining experience with good food in a lovely atmosphere and fine attentive service, walk past the food court on the first floor of the Azrieli Center and visit the superb Tarantino Italian restaurant on the second floor.

Sit by the large windows, for a superb view of Tel Aviv. Or sit inside, near the mural of a street scene in a quaint Italian village, and imagine yourself walking in the quiet surroundings of Tuscany. The tables are made of dark wood, as is the bar; and the 'aqueduct' dividing the space is built of bricks brought from Firenze. A fountain that originally stood in a Rome square has also been cleverly incorporated. In short, the decor can compete with any good class ristorante in Italy itself.

Tarantino - Indoors

About The Tarantino Dairy Menu

Start with some of the delicious breads or garlic bread, baked in TaranTino's very own brick oven. They're all accompanied by home made butter and balsamic vinegar. Or have a focaccia carpaccio with mozzarella, cubed tomato and basil all fresh, of course.

The signature TaranTino starter is the mozzarella filled fried risotto balls, served with a chili and pickled lemon sauce. This works as a good starter or a light snack. For other light meals try a sandwich or a bruschetta with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichoke hearts or smoked salmon.

There are pizzas from the humble Pizza Margherita to more unusual toppings, such as porcini mushrooms and sweet potatoes. The pasta and ravioli dishes come highly recommended they include some unusual ingredients such as anchovies and pine nuts. .

Desserts are varied and delicious (if calorific): tiramisu, crme brule, chocolate souffl enjoy!

TaranTino is a family restaurant with a kiddies' menu that includes pizza and pasta, and for dessert a chocolate syringe or ice cream.

As important as the food is the service. TaranTino prides itself on its staff training, and it shows: servers are welcoming, attentive and friendly without being obsequious.

If you are looking for more than just a meal, but an authentic taste of Italy on a session of retail therapy or for a quiet, intimate dinner in the evening, this is definitely the place for you.
