ELLA Resto Bar and ELLA Cafe are located in a building next to the tennis courts in Netanya's new Ir Yamim neighborhood. ELLA cafe is on the ground level, and the Resto Bar is on the second floor directly above the Cafe. The tennis courts are located between the modern new Ir Yamim mall and the sea. Continue on Ben Gurion Boulevard west, and just after the mall you will see the ELLa restaurant logo on the building. There is free parking in lots along the courts.
ELLA Resto Bar Meat Restaurant
We have looked far and wide for a cool and comfortable outdoor location in the dead of summer. At last we have found one. Although you must walk up a flight of stairs to get to ELLA Resto Bar, when you get up to this rooftop restaurant you will have, not only a gorgeous view of the area, but the best breezes in the Sharon Area. Delightful.
 ELLA Resto Bar is inspired by its sea view. The restaurant has a nautical design. Crisp white table cloths and sea-blue cushions, hurricane lamps, as well as knickknacks all with a nautical theme. There is bar seating and table seating that wraps around the covered rooftop. In the winter the restaurant will be enclosed with glass, but for most of the year this restaurant is a fantastic escape from the Israeli heat.
About ELLA Resto Bar: Simple Mediterranean
This is a meat restaurant with a simple Mediterranean menu of appetizers. salads, meats and fish. We were greeted with a bowl of crispy nachos and salsa sauce. While we were crunching, out came an attractive mini-Margarita made of Pasiflora and strawberry. A nice touch.
 The ELLA Resto Bar menu offers dishes from NIS 50 to meat dishes for NIS 150. My companion and I each had just one dish from the lower end of the menu: My companion chose the Chinkali ravioli and I went with the fish & chips, a dish that the restaurant recommends. We were impressed with his ample bowl of ravioli filled with meat, and topped with an eggplant and tomato sauce. The fish & chips was also an impressive bowl with strips of barbounia fish arranged on a bed of chips. As we have seen in most restaurants, this dish has a reasonable number of fish strips on a disproportionately large bed of chips. The fish was very tasty and the chips were too good to pass up.
Dessert is either the house crepe or sorbet. My companion and I shared the crepe, which was thick and pancake-like, covered with an orange sauce. Though not the traditional light French dish, it was tasty.
