Gallery Caf� is a chic and stylish coffee shop restaurant in Eilat. Their location, a bit off the beaten path, should not disuade you from visiting this unique restaurant. The operative word at the restaurant is artistic. The atmosphere, the presentation of the dishes, the place settings and cutlury all contribute to a stylized dining experience. And they don't call this place Gallery for nothin'. Upstairs there is an art gallery - come and feast your eyes along with the rest of you.

The menu is rich and detailed with soups, salads, sandwiches, fish, pasta and more. All of the baked goods are prepared on the premises. Some of the highlights include: The Mexican Breakfast which is a tortilla with an omelet, cheese, salsa, salad and house bread. Try the Gallery Salad, this is oven baked tuna served with cherry tomatoes, potatoes, and hard boiled eggs served on a salad. Make sure to try the onion soup served in a crispy bread bowl. And don�t forget the sushi.

The restaurant can host parties of up to 70 people.

Lately I've been to a few "commercial" cafes and have been disappointed by the commonness of the food and lacking service. Gallery Coffee reminded me how much better small places can be because of the personal touch and attention of the owners. The food was excellent - and beautifully served. Prices reasonable and the staff making every effort, courteous and friendly. We started with warm rolls with 4(!) colorful spreads (tehina,olive tapenade, salsa, pesto) on a glass palette We had excellent onion soup and pastas, the vegetable lasagna included black mushrooms and was served with extra tomato sauce a mixed salad topped with fresh mushrooms, nuts and a thick vinaigrette dressing. I had the grilled Denis -with an Israeli salad and mashed potato - Well seasoned, very tasty and also beautifully presented, Desserts included hot chocolate souffl� and lovely apple strudel with creamy ice cream. All homemade and with a personal touch. The beautiful decor, paintings, generous table spacing and light pop music (Mostly Elton John) added atmosphere and we enjoyed our meal and hardly noticed several large family groups (Hanukah vacation) dining in parallel. There is also a small room for private parties.
