Kapao is the only kosher Thai restaurant in Israel. Thai food is unique among Asian foods because of its contrasts. A single dish will be both sweet and spicy and can also be both hot and cold. Thai food often pairs hot spices with sweet, light citrus flavors like lime and mango. Hot spicy soup is paired with flavoed rice at room temperature. And the unique rice and mango dessert pairs warm sweet rice with cold mango sorbet.

Kapao also offers not only Thai cuisine but also sushi and other Asian foods. We had the sushi and the wings and both were excellent. The restaurant is flexible about substitutions and most of the dishes are available with vegetarian alternatives.
