When this wine came out I thought it would have a good shelf-life. I was right, that has certainly proven to be true. If you can still find this wine today, get it, it is an excellent buy.

Drink it right away. Six months from now, this wine may be past its climax. It would be a shame to miss out on the smooth textures and taste of this superb chardonnay.

The Yarden Chardonnay, 1995 is now a deep, rich, golden color. Its taste is smooth like the creamy-buttery taste that signifies a truly good chardonnay. It is a full body white and yet, surprisingly, it is not too oakey. The few years on the shelf have been good to this wine and have allowed for the full bouquet of flavors to fully open. This great wine is definitely at its peak.
